‘Sviluppo Rete’, Terna’s new App

For the first time, Terna has also dedicated an ad hoc, public and interactive App to the Plan, which shows the main projects and development interventions on the national electricity grid with state-of-the-art multimedia tools. The application will allow citizens to know the plan of the fundamental works for the energy transition and to explore, with augmented reality, even extra contents within the different sections: reference context, planning process, development interventions, benefits for the system. This is what Terna’s 2021 Development Plan provides, which was illustrated today by the CEO, Stefano Donnarumma. Through the new ‘Grid Development’ app, Terna illustrates the objectives and criteria underlying the planning process at national and European level, the action priorities and the expected results with the implementation of the Plan, confirming, once again, its commitment in favor of environmental sustainability and the development needs of the territory.
