Pirelli’s ‘The Cal’ is back, Bryan Adams will start the 2022 calendar

Bryan Adams, musician and photographer, will shoot the Pirelli Calendar 2022. “I am proud to have been chosen as the photographer of the Pirelli Calendar 2022″ wrote the artist on his social channels. “Combining photography and music for ‘The Cal ‘is very exciting and will undoubtedly involve extraordinary people. The shooting will start in a few weeks. I’m thrilled, ”he said. The news marks the return of The Cal, after the suspension of its production decided last year for the Covid emergency. In addition to 2021, the history of the Calendar had already recorded suspensions in 1967 and then from 1975 to 1983. Since the late 90s, Bryan Adams has combined his career in the rock world with his passion for photography, obtaining the success with shots, among others, of artists from the world of music and cinema and of the protagonists of the fashion world. Among the people immortalized are Mick Jagger, John Boyega, Amy Winehouse, Naomi Campbell, but also personalities from the world of politics and statesmen, up to Queen Elizabeth, whom Adams photographed on the occasion of her Golden Jubilee.
