G20 Rome 2021, road closures and metro stations: the plan

It will be an armored Rome for the G20 on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October 2021 with closed roads as well as some metro stations in addition to the closure plan already in force. This is what the plan foresees as established today at the Viminale, where the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese chaired the National Committee for Public Order and Safety.

Metro stations A Termini, Repubblica, Barberini, Spagna and Flaminio will be closed. On line B Termini, Cavour, Castro Pretorio and Circo Massimo will be closed. The underground lines will be regularly open on Sunday ROADS CLOSED Saturday from 6.30 pm and until exhaustion needs in Rome it will be closed to vehicular traffic of buses and private cars via Nazionale, from Piazza della Repubblica to Largo Magnanapoli. There will also be filtering for pedestrians.
