A plan to offer the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine to all tourists who choose the Big Apple for their holidays. “This summer we will see tourism reborn in New York,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said, announcing the single-dose vaccine plan to tourists. The Democratic mayor explained that the city intends to install mobile vaccination units at all major tourist attractions in the city. De Blasio then specified that in order to be operational, the plan must first obtain the green light from the state authorities to distribute the vaccine to people who are not residents of New York.
