The mathematician Richard Kollár commented on the epidemic situation through a social network. It brings to light forgotten, indirectly explained data that may suggest the peak of a pandemic. It also assesses the number of patients in the intensive care unit on the basis of statistics.

He began by numbering the number of people who were not immunized at all before the start of the third wave of the pandemic and should become infected during that wave. Specifically, it is a number of 700,000 people.

“This is an older estimate and is based on the fact that in schools, an infection occurs from an infectious classmate of approx. every fourth of its close contact, which is a rough estimate of the positivity of children’s PCR tests, “ said Richard Kollár, further assuming that half of the people became infected “During the growth phase of the wave”.

However, he said, even those infected would make up only 70% of all those infected, so around 500,000 people should be infected together as this pandemic wave grows.
