Award permits for those who get vaccinated, curfews and closures. Russian President Vladimir Putin has introduced new measures to contain the wave of covid infections that Russia has plunged into for weeks and promote the vaccination campaign that has never really taken off. Bars, restaurants and clubs must be closed between eleven in the evening and six in the morning. Those who decide to get vaccinated will be able to benefit from two days off work. Meanwhile, in six regions of the Federation, including Perm and Voronezh, a period of absence from work has begun which will last until November 7th. Nationally, the abstention period will start on Saturday. In the last 24 hours, there have been 37,900 new infections, and 1,069 deaths, a record since the beginning of the epidemic. Only 34 percent of the 146 million Russians received the two doses of the vaccine.
