PRAGUE. In the event of a further deterioration of the proliferation situation coronavirus the Czech government will consider tightening measures. One of the possibilities is that only people with covidpas should go to work – ie a certificate of vaccination or overcoming covid, or with a negative test, which they would have to pay for themselves.

After Monday’s meeting of the Central Crisis Staff, this was announced by its chairman, the outgoing Minister of the Interior Jan Hamáček, informed the Novinky.cz portal.

“The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is preparing an interpretation of the relevant section of the Labor Code for this purpose,” Hamáček said.

They plan in early November area testing in schools in districts with a weekly incidence of more than 300 cases per 100 000 population. According to current data, this will apply to eight districts in the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian regions.

Hamáček also informed that despite the court’s decision to cancel the obligation to fill in the arrival form when returning to the Czech Republic, this obligation will be maintained. “The Ministry of Health will complete the justification,” he said.
