BRATISLAVA. Through 3854 PCR tests, they detected 993 cases of new infection in Slovakia on Sunday coronavirus. There were also 14 casualties.

On Sunday, medics vaccinated the first dose of 246 people. As the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Health, Zuzana Eliášová, further stated, more than 70 percent of them were not vaccinated.

The most positive tests were in the Žilina region, on the contrary the least in the Trnava region. 538 people had a positive antigen test in the past day. Even in this case, more than 70 percent of them did not have vaccinations.

“There are 1,144 patients with or suspected COVID-19 in hospitals, of whom more than 80 percent are not vaccinated or are only partially vaccinated. There are 112 patients in intensive care units, 122 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation, “the spokeswoman added to the current situation.
