Nigeria is launching its state-owned digital currency eNaira on Monday, a way for the country’s central bank to try to regain control, as more Nigerians begin to take an interest in bitcoin. Nigerians are urged to download a digital wallet that will allow them to pay in select stores and exchange money faster, for less. After Ghana, Nigeria is the second African country to launch its own digital currency.
