Registration for the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination for other groups has not yet started. As a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health (MH) of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Eliášová, responded to the TASR question on Monday, and the ministry is finalizing technical details in cooperation with the National Center for Health Information (NCZI).

“I will not release any system of registration or organization that I am not convinced will work,” said Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) on Monday. He announced that on Tuesday (October 26) he would meet with the head of NCZI, Pavel Capk, to resolve this situation.

On Thursday (October 21), a member of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Geographical Medicine at the University Hospital in Bratislava informed about the possibility of applying for the third dose for people over 55, but also for patients with chronic diseases or people with risky work on Thursday (October 21). – Kramáre Alena Koščálová.

She emphasized that if an invitation to the third dose was given to people who felt they should not go to it, they should see their GPs.
