Yasin Hansye “is still waiting for a severe sentence, that justice does its job”, so the trial is still pending, two years after the murder of his sister.

“Two years later it’s like it was yesterday,” Yasin Hansye testified on BFMTV on Monday. In October 2019, her 15-year-old sister Shaïna was found dead in a district of Creil (Oise). She was stabbed and then burned while she was pregnant.

Since then, “it’s a really terrible pain, we have the impression that two years later it’s as if it was yesterday,” he explained. “It is difficult for us to mourn Shaïna, to tell ourselves that we are going to turn the page, to move forward, because we are a destroyed family”.

“We are still waiting for a severe sentence”

In the family apartment, the teenager’s bedroom was left untouched, “whether it was her things, her furniture, her bedroom, everything remained the same. It’s like she was still there with us, it’s something. something that soothes us when we see all his stuff, it brings back good memories, “says Yasin Hansye, who launched an association called “Justice for Shaïna, never again”.

This Monday morning, two years after the murder of the young girl, a rally is planned in Creil, rue de la Champerelle, where her body was found. “We decided to meet at the place where the tragedy occurred to say that after two years we are still waiting for a severe sentence, for justice to do its job, and to say that we too do not want to stay in the shadow, we are always revolted “, he explains.

The main suspect in Shaïna’s murder is her boyfriend at the time. Several elements of the file point to his guilt, but denies the facts from the beginning. He is imprisoned awaiting trial, which is slow to arrive. The case was indeed referred to the Assize Court, but the accused’s lawyer appealed against this decision. A hearing will therefore take place on November 16, determining whether or not the suspect will be returned to an assize court.

Despite several requests from BFMTV, the suspect’s lawyer declined to give an interview.

“Trying to do prevention, alert”

Before this terrible death, Shaïna had already been the victim of a gang rape at the age of 13, for which she had lodged a complaint. But she then suffered reprisals from people in her neighborhood: described as an easy girl, she had even been beaten up for having denounced the rape, as reported The world in September, which revealed the case.

Today, Shaïna’s family wants above all that the story of the young girl is known, so that it does not happen again, “it is already unbearable pain for the families, that something like this happens. , and if I, on my own level, can try to do prevention, alert like today, try to make people understand that all this is unacceptable, I will do my best “.
