Police stopped the same vehicle three times in Bratislava and its surroundings on Saturday (October 23). All three drivers drove under the influence of alcohol, so they were placed in a police detention cell. The Bratislava regional police spokesman Michal Szeiff informed about it.

Shortly after 9.30 am, the vehicle was stopped on Púchovská Street, driven by a 33-year-old Ukrainian. “He was subjected to a breath test to check for the presence of alcohol in his breath. It ended with a result of 0.72 milligrams per liter of alcohol in the exhaled air, which is 1.5 per mille, “the spokesman specified.

Shortly after 6 pm, the same car was stopped by Pezinok police on Viničianská cesta. In this case, the 21-year-old Ukrainian had 2.33 per mille. The same vehicle was stopped shortly before 7.05 pm, a 28-year-old man from Ukraine was behind the wheel.

“This was measured at 1.62 milligrams per liter during the follow-up, which is up to 3.37 per mille. After performing the necessary actions, this driver joined his two predecessors in the police detention cell, “added Szeiff.

All three irresponsible drivers have been charged with the crime of substance abuse. The police emphasize that in Slovakia the so-called zero tolerance of alcohol in the driver’s breath.
