The latest bulletin today reports 37,930 infections and 1,609 deaths, a figure close to the maximum reached so far. The most affected city is Moscow with 7,778 cases and 83 deaths, followed by St. Petersburg with 2,693 infections and 65 deaths. In Russia, only a third of the population is immunized, while a high degree of skepticism towards vaccines remains. Some polls indicate that half of Russians do not want to get vaccinated.
