Covid Gb, Government thinks of vaccine obligation for health care workers

The British government is considering imposing the compulsory vaccination against covid-19 on all people working in the national health system (NHS). “We are moving in this direction,” said Health Minister Sajid Javid in an interview with Sky, pointing out that there are 100,000 NHS employees in England who are not fully vaccinated. It is an issue that concerns “the health of patients”, he stressed. Read also Javid intervened as the November 11 deadline approaches, when all nursing home employees will need to be vaccinated. But now it is thought of extending the obligation to all health personnel in England, while in Great Britain there is a surge in infections. The government of Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson continues to say it wants to pursue its plan A, which is to insist on vaccinations without imposing restrictions. But the leaders of the NHS are asking to switch to plan B, which is the obligation to have a mask, teleworking and green pass for crowded events.
