In Ile-de-France, the cut of the A13 since Sunday has resulted in monster traffic jams – archyde

Significant disruptions are to be expected on the roads of Ile-de-France, Monday, October 25, while the motorway 13 (A13) has been cut in both directions of traffic since Sunday at 6 p.m. The motorway is closed between the Paris exit and the Saint-Cloud tunnel, following “Cable theft leading to the loss of safety equipment” in the Ambroise-Paré tunnel, in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), explains the direction of the roads of Ile-de-France on the Sytadin website. The two tunnels mentioned are also closed to traffic.

In the direction of Paris, Sytadin advises to leave the A13 at the level of the town of Rocquencourt to join the A12, then the N12 in the direction of Evry and Lyon. Then, near Versailles, take the A86 towards Créteil, then the N118 towards the Pont de Sèvres.

No estimate of return to normal yet

In the other direction, to leave Paris, it is advisable to take the exit from the ring road towards Bordeaux and Nantes, then to continue on the D910 towards the Pont de Sèvres. Then, take the N118 towards Chartres and Bordeaux, then the A86 towards Versailles, then the N12 towards the A13 (Rouen) or join the A13 via the A86.

Monday morning, the incident was still ongoing. The direction of the roads of Ile-de-France has not given an estimate as to the end of the disturbances and the restoration of traffic. At 10 am this Monday, Sytadin reported 174 kilometers of traffic jams on the roads of Ile-de-France.
