PRAGUE. Czech actor Pavel Liška, who starred in advertising spots promoting the energy supplier Bohemia Energy (BE), commented on the sudden end of the company through his Facebook account.

The award-winning actor said that even though he had virtually nothing to do with the company, he apologized to all clients who felt cunning in this regard, he informed on Sunday. news web portal Novinky.cz.

“It’s been more than a week since I received an e-mail from BE that this company is ending its business. I didn’t understand it at all, and after a while I realized that it was a reality,” the 49-year-old actor wrote in a statement.

Liška stated that he was contacted by an advertising agency about four years ago.

According to him, he tries to build cooperation responsibly and points to the case, when almost a million customers lost their energy supplier, but acknowledges several mistakes of this company.

“I see part of the problem simply in risking BE and not making advances in the future, even for such an unpredictable global increase in energy prices as has just happened. I understand that risk sometimes belongs to trade, but nevertheless I consider it essential that the consequences when it fails, only the one who took the risk bore it, “said the actor.

“Today we know it didn’t work out. But it will affect the lives of many people. I myself belong to the million BE customers who trusted them and used their services. I’m very sorry and I apologize to everyone who feels cunning.” added Liška.

Bohemia Energy, the largest group of alternative energy suppliers in the Czech Republic with 900,000 consumption points, has decided to terminate its business activities, including the supply of electricity and gas to customers.
