The accident happened in eastern Slovakia.
A spare locomotive hit the train.
On Sunday morning, a curious train accident occurred near the village of Pavlovce in the Vranov nad Topľou district. Fortunately, she got around without any serious consequences, and four people, including the driver, were easily injured.
The first morning passenger train from Humenné to Prešov had a breakdown in the local part of Podlipníky. At that time, there were about 13 passengers sitting in it, who had to wait for a spare locomotive, which they sent from Prešov. Around 7.00, however, this train crashed into a parked passenger train in a curve. According to our information, the replacement driver knew where the passenger train was supposed to stand and gradually braked, but he still did not avoid the collision.
Trains had to be replaced by buses in this morning.
