Lépine 2021 Competition: Rolling pool, elbow grip … the most useful inventions – Yahoo News

Unsurprisingly, the Covid has given ideas to some inventors. Back to three particularly useful inventions.

INNOVATION – The inventors are meeting at the famous Autumn Fair. Porte de Versailles in Paris, the annual meeting houses, among others, the participants of the Lépine competition, this meeting place for innovative objects of all kinds. More than 300 new products are displayed this year in the aisles until November 1st: The HuffPost sorted it out, selecting for you three inventions that could change everyday life.

As you can see in the video at the top of this article, the Covid came into the imagination of inventors. With the “cubit of door”, Fabrice Sautereau tackled the problem of contamination on the handles: a very simple creation but which shines by its usefulness as a pandemic.

Less subject to the zeitgeist, but very successful, Gaëlle Le Noan’s creation tackles the menstrual insecurity. With free, easily refillable hygienic protection dispensers, in partnership with manufacturers of tampons and towels, the Frenchwoman has already found many partnerships with public institutions, particularly high schools.

But precariousness also means the absence of holidays by the sea, or even just going on vacation for 11 million French people each year. With its pool of swimming mobile, Olivier Tauty wants to teach those who do not know the sea or the swimming pool to swim: an ingenious way to reach people living away from cities. May the best win!
