Bern, October 23 (TASR) – Slovak hockey player Libor Hudáček is experiencing a fantastic start in his new club HC Lugano. In his premiere on Tuesday, he contributed two goals to Rapperswil’s ice victory, and in Friday’s 18th round of the Swiss league, he added two more accurate hits to help the team score SCL Langnau Tigers. Lugano lost 5: 6 in the wild match after extra time.

The guests led 2: 0, later lost 2: 4 and at the end of the third period 3: 5. In the very end, however, Hudáček’s moments came. In the time of 59:01, the Slovak striker reduced in the power play to the difference of one goal and 21 seconds before the end of the third period he took care of the equalizer in power play without the goalkeeper. Harri Pesonen was the replacement. Lugana fans chose Hudáček for the second time in a row.

At the end of last week, the 31-year-old Hudáček ended his work in the KHL Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk team and headed for the Alps.
