5.0 magnitude earthquake shakes Valparaíso, Chile

(CNN Spanish) – A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck Valparaíso this Friday, according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The seismic focus was located 35 kilometers deep and the epicenter was located 28 kilometers north-northeast of Valparaíso and 33 kilometers northeast of Viña del Mar.
