A hundred interventions by firefighters in the Yonne

They intervened mainly for clearing public roads, linked to falling trees. After intense activity in the early morning to restore circulation, the situation returned to normal almost everywhere.

If some municipalities in the north of Yonne and Puisaye were affected, it is in Guillon-Terre-Plaine, in the Avallonnais, that the inhabitants were probably the most affected. The whole village has been deprived of electricity. “It farted all night, it did not stop. This Thursday morning, the school was also deprived of electricity”, explains a resident. In the middle of the morning at the post office as at the hairdressing salon, we were still waiting for a return to service, in the twilight. “The electricity must be restored at the end of the morning”, indicated the hairdresser.

At the Guillon-Terre-Plaine postal agency, the door remained closed this Thursday morning because of the blackout.

And indeed, in the village, many Enedis technicians were mobilized. “We are putting the power back on everywhere, for Guillon the problem will be resolved at the end of the morning,” confirms Cédric Bouchard from Enedis.
