European Council, green light from leaders to conclusions on energy

The heads of state and government of the EU countries approved the conclusions on energy price increases in Brussels during the working dinner. The debate on the rule of law in Poland, explains an EU source, took place in a “serene atmosphere” and was an opportunity to “better understand the respective points of view”. The President of the European Council Charles Michel thanked the leaders for the “constructive” approach and concluded that “the political dialogue must continue to find solutions”. Tonight’s debate “is a step that should help to arrive at solutions”.
