Shooting at a fire station in Agua Dulce, California

(CNN) – At least one person was shot at a fire station in Agua Dulce, California, Los Angeles County official Michelle Sanchez told CNN on Tuesday.

Sánchez said it is not clear, but that there could be more victims.

“It is with great regret that LACoFD confirms that a tragic shooting occurred at approximately 10:55 am today on FS 81 in Agua Dulce,” the Los Angeles County Fire Department tweeted Tuesday. “The Department is still in the process of gathering additional information and is cooperating with the law throughout this ongoing incident. We will provide updated information when it is available. ‘

A person is detained in a nearby vehicle, but it is not known if that person is the suspect in the shooting.

Agua Dulce is located in the Santa Clarita Valley, about 30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
