Nobody expected this! A recording from Karel Gott’s last meeting with his daughters at Bertramka came to light. It was an additional celebration of Gott’s 80th birthday, two weeks after his birthday. It was Karel Gott’s last meeting with all his daughters, which the maestro was painfully aware of.

The meeting was also attended by director Olga Malířová Špátová, who was continuously shooting a documentary about Karl Gott. On that occasion, she shot emotional footage from the celebration, when Karel and his daughters, who were finally and apparently buried for the last time at the celebration of his birthday, wanted to sing the country song Together Again.

Karel Gott told the daughters on the record to play and sing the famous country song Together Again together … and at the same time he cried … Karel said that they were together again and many, many tears fell on their faces. He was very moved, but he wasn’t sure if his daughters would be affected. When they saw his tears, they asked him in surprise if he was crying. Gott told them that yes, all he had to do was remember the thing … This emotional moment made the audience cry.

However, Dominika Gottová did not consent to the publication of her footage from the last meeting with her father. The main reason was that she didn’t look her best at the time, due to her drug and alcohol addiction. Now she was very upset that during an interview with director Olga Malířová Špátová, a recording from this meeting appeared in the Czech show Showtime. The emotional moment also touched the audience, but Dominika considers it a setback and the director thinks it’s bad.
