Health pass: the extension until summer 2022 voted by one vote at the Assembly – LCI

At the end of often electric debates, the Assembly gave in the night of Wednesday to Thursday, a first green light to the bill “sanitary vigilance”, with the controversial possibility of resorting to the sanitary pass until July 31st.

The majority, however, narrowly avoided a resounding quack shortly before 10 p.m., when the vote was taken on article 2, the heart of the bill, with a ric-rac adoption by 74 votes in favor and 73 against.

The occasional problems of mobilization in the hemicycle among the LaREM deputies pointed out Tuesday morning in a group meeting by Christophe Castaner, leader of the “walkers”, have obviously not been resolved. “With one voice near, the marchers who do not walk as surely as yesterday have almost come up against the wall of the opposition’s protest “, thundered the Communist Sébastien Jumel. “Your drift on the health pass does not pass!”

RN presidential candidate Marine Le Pen criticized a “blank check”, in a “state of exception” which becomes “Standard”. On the side of rebellious France, the deputy Mathilde Panot castigates the decision-making of the Head of State taken at the will “of the orders and counter-orders of Jupiter”.

As expected, the majority returned to the quack that arose in the law committee where the LREM deputy Pacôme Rupin, resolutely opposed to the pass, had narrowly passed an amendment which provides for limiting the use of the pass geographically and according to the rate of incidence of the epidemic.
