Will the Tesla Cybertruck be an “ordinary” electric pickup? Futuristic elements are slowly disappearing when new details about the vehicle are published and photos of the Cybertruck with classic rear-view mirrors have recently appeared, informs the portal InsideEVs.

Already at the introduction of the Tesla Cybertruck, many began to call this electric pickup as the most futuristic vehicle today. But since her performance two years have passed and Cybertruck is still out of production.

But that doesn’t matter at all, Tesla has more time to test and fine-tune the last details. But new photos and information reveal that before the electric car should become even more futuristic, the carmaker is taking away from its unique technologies.

With mirrors and swivel rear axle

The latest video of the Cybertruck has appeared, which shows the classic rear-view mirrors. He made the video Jesse Sandoval and drew the portal’s attention to it Electrek. The quality of the recording is lousy, so we can’t observe a lot of detail.

What is clear, however, are the classic rear-view mirrors on the vehicle, and in addition to them, the rear axle’s rotation, which Musk confirmed both a few weeks ago, is also well observable.

But now we have the opportunity to see him in practice. The new video also confirms to us that the carmaker already guarantees more than one Tesla Cybertruck prototype. The car that has been shown to the public so far could always be one and the same.

The older prototype did not have rear-view mirrors and also no swiveling rear axle, but the prototype tested at the California airport is different.

European and American version?

It is quite possible that Tesla will eventually bring several versions designed for different markets. It is precisely the one without rear-view mirrors that could flow to us in Europe as well. European legislation allows the replacement of rear-view mirrors with cameras, as we have seen in the case of the Audi e-tron, for example.

In America, however, such a solution is not yet legal, so Tesla will probably sell a Cybertruck with classic reversers on the domestic market. The Twitter user @ajtourville even noticed that the tested Cybertruck has a shorter front nose and a longer windshield, so the changes in the production version could be even bigger.
