At the beginning of the verbal shootout, which took place on the social network Facebook, the statements of Romana Tabák were contradictory. She first supported the proposed legislative changes regarding abortions from the workshop of her party colleague Anna Záborská in the first reading in the parliament.

Today, however, when the law is in second reading, it goes the other way. She threatened that if the law passed, she would consider her end in the party. “I didn’t go into politics to limit women,” said the MEP recently on the social network.

She even participated in the march for safe and legal abortion. Paradoxically, she caused herself to know that the law of abortion is now in the second reading, as she moved it there with her voice. However, this does not prevent it from taking the opposite path now and arming it against the current form of the law.

She even went personally and told her own story of how she had thought about abortion in the past. “I got pregnant unplanned. I also thought about having an abortion. I visited the Alexis counseling center for a consultation and finally decided to keep the child. Now I’m happiest to make that decision. ” she stated.
