In the case of the accused Kažimír, Imrecze’s successor – SME.sk – was also supposed to testify

BRATISLAVA. So far, the only known witness who was supposed to testify in the case of the accused Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia Petr Kažimír, was the former head of financial administration František Imrecze.

Imrecze testified that Kažimír, as Minister of Finance for Smer, shifted him a 50,000 bribe from a private entrepreneur to arrange for the acceleration of tax control of a specific company in the financial administration.

Kazimir denies the charges.

Markíza TV now informs that Imrecze’s former subordinate and later successor at the head of the financial report Lenka Wittenbergerová, who is accused in other cases, also testified in the case.

However, the Marquis reminds that since Kažimír’s defense also mentions only one penitent, Wittenberger’s testimony probably does not speak directly about the bribe, but about other activities that could be related to the case.

“However, since this thing is still alive, no one is talking about the details,” the television concludes.
