NAKA’s intervention for corruption in the courts: Among the detainees is also an entrepreneur to whom Kočner wrote – TVNOVINY.sk

On Tuesday (October 19), the National Criminal Agency carried out an intervention in eastern Slovakia. As part of an anti-corruption operation, Syseľ detained three accused persons.

Michal Slivka, a spokesman for the police presidium, confirmed this for TV Markíza, stating that these are crimes of bribery and indirect corruption.

Police officers conducted personal and home searches, as well as searches of other areas. “In this criminal case, the investigator accused six persons who were supposed to commit corruption in at least three cases – in influencing civil and criminal proceedings before various courts in the Prešov and Košice regions,” Slivka added, adding that he could not provide more information so far.

According to our information, lawyers and court officials are to be among the accused and detainees. He is also allegedly detained East Slovak businessman Marián Sisák. Marian Kočner wrote a report to him and two other people in June 2018 that they were taking him into custody. “They are taking me into custody,” Kočner then wrote to Alena Zsuzsová, mistress Miriam Hatinová and Sisák. “I don’t believe it,” wrote the East Slovak businessman.
