Fortuna League – ŠK Slovan Bratislava responds to the decision of ÚLK – ŠPORT.sk

The sports fate of the 161st derby of Trnava and Slovan was decided by the Presidium of the ÚLK, based on the evaluation of documents from delegated persons, referees, both clubs and the Regional Directorate of the Police Force.

The verdict was announced at a briefing after Wednesday’s extraordinary meeting of the governing body of the Fortuna League. Trnava were penalized for not being able to organize Sunday’s derby, which the main referee Filip Glova had to finish after less than a quarter of an hour after the fans of both teams entered the field. Spartak Trnava may appeal against this decision.

“We respect the decision of the Presidium of the Union of League Clubs, which was adopted at its extraordinary meeting. At the same time, however, I would like to emphasize that we would respect any verdict that the Presidium would accept. ” Ivan Kmotrík Jr., General Manager of the club, responded.

The imposition of penalties in connection with organizational failures or towards the behavior of fans is at the Disciplinary Commission of the Slovak Football Association (SFZ). She will deal with the events from the derby at Thursday’s meeting, the verdict should be passed until next week.
