In mid-September, the infectologist of Bratislava Kramárov, Peter Sabaka, won the prestigious JM Hurban Award. It is also associated with a reward of 28 thousand euros. However, he did not keep it – he dedicated it to a civic association that helps with the treatment of the sick.

However, immediately after receiving the award, a wave of criticism and misinformation broke out towards Sabak. This is done by former members of the opposition ĽSNS Milan Uhrík and Milan Mazurek, currently from the Republika movement. They claimed that Sabaka received the money as a silent reward for approving anti-pandemic measures. But now you’ve said enough. According to the portal Aktuality.sk requests a total of EUR 48 000 from the Members mentioned. In the pre-litigation summons, he asks for 28,000 euros from Uhrík and 20,000 euros from Mazurek. The reason is slander.

“I had enough. I take it as a service to society. One cannot gain political support by spreading untruths about someone. This is not a pure game,“ Sabaka told the portal. Sabaka was also the face of the vaccination campaign. In his video from mid-September, Uhrík claims that he received the money as a reward “For public approval of nonsensical Covid restrictions. Yes, all this Covid madness in Slovakia is mainly about money. MOMs, vaccines, commissions and rewards… “. However, Sabaka subsequently refuted this information, claiming that he had not received money for the vaccination campaign or for any of his statements, neither from pharmaceutical companies, nor from the government or any other state institution.

What about the deputies?

One of the deputies – specifically Milan Uhrík – also reacted to the whole matter. He informed about the fact that Sabaka sent him a pre-litigation summons on a social network via video. “Dr. Sabaka from me 28,000 euros. Because I announced that he received not only an honorary diploma as part of the government award, but also tens of thousands of euros “in his pocket”. From Milan Mazurek, the financial master Sabaka asks 20,000 euros again, because Miňo called him “covid’s prophet” in the summer, “ he wrote. Milan Mazurek, who called Sabaku a coward, also appeared in the video. “Mr. Sabaka, we won’t pay you anything, not a penny,” clarified Uhrík in the video. However, opinions began to be dug up under the video that Sabaka was corrupt, to which he himself responded, that the deputies were clearly only concerned with inciting hatred.
