Trnava county Jozef Viskupič has a coronavirus – SME – SME.sk

TRNAVA. The chairman of the Trnava self-governing region, Jozef Viskupič, has a positive test for the disease COVID-19.

He informed about it on the social network, stating that he has a moderate course of the disease with joint, muscle and temperature pain slightly above 37 degrees. His wife also has positive test results.

Viskupič was among the first to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Trnava region, the first dose vaccines received on January 5 this year. Under his leadership, the self-governing region organized vaccinations in large-capacity vaccination centers, social services facilities, as well as field vaccinations.

Even before Viskupič learned of the positive result of the test, he convened a meeting of the Trnava Self-Governing Region Council on Wednesday, October 20. Whether it will take place and in what form, the self-government has not yet announced.
