The carousel of tests, quarantines and measures began in Viskupič’s family three weeks ago. His eldest son was tested positive for coronavirus, as were Viskupič’s parents. For the Trnava mayor, this meant only one thing – quarantine.

They tried their best to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Unfortunately, unsuccessfully. “Despite all our efforts, setting house rules, corridors, hyper-frequent ventilation and germicidal radiation, as well as supporting immunity with vitamins, walking, etc. – my wife and I passed a positive antigen test,” informed Viskupič on the social network. As he explained, he was still on the PCR test on Monday, October 11, together with his wife Romana and daughter Vivienne were negative.

Subsequently, Viskupič’s youngest son Viktor, who was also on the antigen test, also became infectious. At that time, according to him, the quarantine in their household got cracked. “And we haven’t prevented the transmission. So far we have symptoms of moderate course – joints, muscles, mucus, taste and temperatures slightly above 37 degrees Celsius,” Viskupič explained. He was vaccinated together with other bathrobes in January this year. In the end, he denied people to stay healthy and explained that he now had to change his entire work week, given his positivity, as he had to stay at home.

He also received several encouraging comments from colleagues from the movement, such as Monika Kozelová, Lucie Drábiková and Anna Remiášová. “I’m keeping my fingers crossed, man.” wrote to Viskupič his colleague – Bratislava mayor Juraj Droba. Former member of parliament Alena Bašistová, who ran for the Network and subsequently joined the SNS club, also wished him a speedy recovery. “Jofo keeping my fingers crossed, I went through that 10 days ago, fortunately asymptomatic,” wrote another former member of parliament Peter Kresák. Juraj Rizman, the partner of the president Zuzana Čaputová, also wished Viskupič a speedy recovery.
