The apartments go like warm croissants. There is a seller on horseback, there are still a record number of transactions – HNonline.sk

When you have a vacant apartment for sale in the capital, finding a buyer is now very easy. You will sell the property in its normal condition at the market price in two weeks. This is how the real estate business sees the current situation.

One square meter in an older 2-room apartment with an area of 60 square meters climbs to about 2,700 euros and the total price tag in this case exceeds 160 thousand euros. And in a new building, expect a price up to half as high. It is the result of an imbalance.

To illustrate, according to estimates, up to 40,000 units are missing in Bratislava. Demand is high after the second wave of the crisis and economic recovery, and record cheap mortgages are also recording it. Horseback riding is such a seller. The result is relentless for buyers. In Bratislava, flats are more than 30 percent more expensive than before the pandemic.

Record number of transactions

According to the Statistical Office, there was an almost 5% year-on-year increase in real estate prices throughout Slovakia in the second quarter of this year. It follows from the data from the cadastre. Statistics for HN also provided data on transactions.
