Coronavirus in Slovakia: 1,735 new cases and 13 covid deaths – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. PCR tests in Slovakia detected 1,735 infected on Saturday coronavirus, laboratories tested 8,996 PCR samples.

The most positive PCR tests were in the Prešov region, they captured 561 infected people. There were 312 in the Košice Region, 273 in Žilina, 185 in Bratislava, 162 in Banská Bystrica, 129 in Trnavský, 76 in Trenčianske 76 and 37 in Nitra.

276 people had a positive antigen test, testing 8,678 samples.

Another 13 people died with Covid-19, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia has claimed 12,846 victims.

There are 963 patients with or suspected Covid-19 in hospitals, and 889 people have confirmed the disease. There are 101 patients at JIS, 104 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

The first dose vaccines 428 people were vaccinated yesterday, a total of 2,480,397 people have received the first dose of the vaccine.

The second dose of the vaccine was given to 303 people, fully vaccinated with both doses of the vaccine is currently 2,281,858 people in Slovakia.
