For Polášek, it was already the 16th title on the main professional circuit, the first alongside Peers and in the world doubles ranking, he will move to ninth place.

Polášek and Peers laid the foundation for winning in the first act in the second game, when they took the opponents’ hand and then took the lead 3: 0. They guarded it until the end and won the set 6: 3.

In the second, the score was equalized to 2: 2, followed by a series of lost passes on both sides.

Polášek and Peers took the lead 5: 3, but in the ninth game they did not convert two swordsmen, then they lost service and the Russian pair equalized to 5: 5 and 6: 6.

In the secret, Karacev and Rublov led 5: 3, but they did not make it to the victorious end. On the contrary, the Australian-Slovak pair won 7: 5.

She had previously eliminated in the semifinals Croatian-Brazilian couple Ivan Dodig, Marcelo Melo 6: 4, 7: 6 (1).

For Polášek and Dodig, the mutual duel had a spicy flavor, as they won two tournaments on the main ATP circuit (Beijing 2019 and Cincinnati 2019) and triumphed at the Australian Open grand slam in Melbourne in February this year.

Their mutual cooperation ended in July.
