Bordeaux unveils its 2021-2022 third jersey for the club’s 140th anniversary – daily mercato

16th in Ligue 1 with only one small victory on the clock since the start of the season, Bordeaux receives Nantes this Sunday (3:00 p.m.) at Matmut Atlantique as part of the 10th day of the French championship. For the occasion, Yacine Adli’s teammates will be able to release their new 2021-2022 third jersey, which was unveiled to the general public this Saturday. A collector’s red tunic to mark the 140th anniversary of the Scapular Club.

“This Bordeaux red tunic will inevitably remind the most loyal supporters of the fantastic European epic of 1996 with Zinedine Zidane, Christophe Dugarry and others. Sublimated in a gold color to recall the elegance and prestige of the Club, this tunic takes up the traditional coat of arms of the Club”, explain the Girondons de Bordeaux on their website.

Designed in collaboration with the supplier Adidas, this new jersey will be “produced in 1881 (date of birth of the club, editor’s note) copies and individually numbered”.
