PRAGUE. After Bohemia Energy, another Czech energy supplier announced the end. The company Kolibřík energie informed its customers on Friday that it is no longer able to secure electricity and gas supplies under agreed conditions. The company supplies energy to approximately 30,000 customers. The clients of the Scout Energy project also received the same message.

Customers of Skautská energie, whose supplier was the company Kolibřík energie, will also find a similar announcement on the website. “Probably from October 19, all customers of Skautská energie will switch to the so-called supplier of last resort,” e15.cz said in a part of the company’s announcement.

As the novinky.cz server informed, customers will pay prices that depend on the situation on the stock exchange until they conclude a standard contract with a new supplier. This means significantly higher than they have paid so far. They may remain with the supplier of last resort for a maximum of six months.

Bohemia Energy, the largest group of alternative energy suppliers in the Czech Republic, also recently ceased operations. The group with approximately 900,000 consumption points has decided to terminate its business activities and supply electricity and gas to customers of Bohemia Energy, Comfort Energy, Energie ČS, Europe Easy Energy and X Energie.
