EUROMILLIONS – This is the biggest win ever in Europe: the record sum of 220 million euros, put into play during the Euromillions draw this Friday, October 15, was won in France, learned the AFP to the Lotery (FDJ).

The lucky man or woman now has sixty days to report to the FDJ and collect their winnings, which is the biggest jackpot in the history of the European lottery since its creation in 2004.

He or she played the winning combination 21 26 31 34 34 49, and the star numbers 2 and 5.

The previous super jackpot had been pocketed in Switzerland. It was a gain of 210 million euros, brought into play on February 26, 2021.

In France, the last record dates back to December 2020. A player from the South of France had then won the 200 million euros involved.
