Mounia El Kotni, anthropologist, alert on “the multiple fragilities linked to breast cancer”

Mounia El Kotni, doctor in health anthropology, co-authored “Im / Patiente, a feminist exploration of breast cancer”, a book adapted from a podcast of the same name. The co-author of this book, Maëlle Sigonneau, died in August 2019, after several years of fighting breast cancer. She denounced in particular the injunctions to femininity made to the victims of this disease.
