NAKA investigator asks Kollar for 100,000 euros for words about “Čuril Mafia” – PRAVDA.sk

The accused investigator of the National Criminal Agency (NAKA), Ján Čurilla, is suing the President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Boris Kollár (We Are a Family), for words about the “Čuril Mafia”.

“I will not support the creation of a new mafia on the other hand, I can easily call it ‘Čurillovská’, and it will do the same, only under some beautiful slogan and banner, but it will abuse the law,” Kollár said on September 17, a few days. after the inspection accused and detained four police officers from the Purgec team. In response to the b lawsuit, Kollár said on Friday that he would not apologize to Čurill until he was completely acquitted.

“Investigator Curilla is still being prosecuted. If his prosecution is abolished by the Attorney General or a court decides that he has not committed the crime, then he will take the lead and apologize to Mr Čurill. Until then, I have no reason to do so, “said Kollár. He noted that Čurilla probably did not have the same meter, as he was not hindered by other people’s statements. Kollár therefore believes that he has a different approach in his professional life and that he treats violations of the law in the same way for everyone.

On October 1, the Regional Court in Bratislava released the accused NAKA investigators and the temporary head of the police inspection, Petr Scholtz, from custody, because their criminal prosecution is unjustified. Čurill, Pavol Ďurka, Milan Sabota and Štefan Mašina are being prosecuted for the crime of abuse of power by a public official and the crime of obstructing justice. Čurill and Ďurka, who worked within the Očistec team on the investigation of the monitored criminal cases, were accused in connection with the investigation of criminal cases of the criminal group Takáčovci. They allegedly prevented a member of the group, Martin Mikulc, from returning to Slovakia from abroad in 2020, in order to create a reason for his escape. In the case of Ďurek, the accusation also concerns the alleged manipulation of the testimony of witness Csaba Dömötör.
