The proposal for the reform of taxes and levies should be known in the next two weeks. This was stated by the Minister of Finance Igor Matovič on the social network of the show Na Hrane televize JOJ. He believes that parents will receive a 200-euro child allowance after the reform. “I firmly believe that they will have them during this government, I will not say the exact date,” Matovič said.

At the beginning of May, the Minister of Finance, Igor Matovič, presented the basic theses of the planned tax-tax reform. Although he has announced this several times since then, he has not yet announced the details of the reform to the professional or lay public. The finance minister blamed the SaS party for blocking the reform.

During the presentation of the tax-tax reform, Minister Matovič announced that he wanted to introduce financial support for families in the amount of 200 euros per child per month until his adulthood. According to him, Slovakia needs an honest and pro-family reform that will simplify the tax system and taxes will be fair and fair. Matovič’s intention is also to simplify the tax-levy system so that, in the case of an employment relationship, only one tax and one levy can be deducted from the price of labor. According to Matovič, the aim of the reform should also be fair taxes, which in practice means that all people will pay the same taxes and levies for the same form of work for the same employer.
