Covid Russia, record of infections and deaths: never so many since the beginning of the pandemic

In Russia, a new record of covid-19 infections and deaths caused by complications attributable to the infection has been recorded. This was announced by the task force appointed by the Moscow government to monitor the progress of the pandemic, confirming 999 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The previous record was set yesterday, with 986 deaths. With respect to infections, 32,196 were reported on the last day. It is only the second time since the outbreak of the pandemic that Russia has officially registered more than 30,000 new cases in a single day.
