The Senate of the Supreme Court decides on the murder of László Basternák, in which Zsuzs was tried in parallel with the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak.

Former SMK regional politician László Basternák was shot by Štefan Kaluz in 2010. The shooter was caught very shortly after the murder and has long been serving his 25-year sentence. However, the rest of the people behind the liquidation of former Mayor Hurbanov remained largely unknown for years. Kaluz did not betray anyone or explain the motive for this act. Even then, however, it was clear that he was just an executor.
