EQUANS: SPIE WITHDRAWS FROM THE AUCTION PROCESS SET UP BY ENGIE

PARIS (Reuters) – Spie said in a statement on Tuesday that it was withdrawing from the auction process put in place by Engie for the sale of Equans, saying it believes the information available is “not sufficient” to enable it to “formulate an offer in line with its requirements and objectives”.

There are now three candidates vying for the acquisition of Equans: Bouygues, Eiffage and the Bain Capital fund.
