After a lot of speculation, Zeman recalled in Lány, the office published photos – HNonline.sk

On Friday, Czech President Miloš Zeman voted in the parliamentary elections at the Lány chateau.

Zeman recalled sitting in his chair, the presidential office also published photos.

“A completely normal election. Just the president did not come to us, but we to him,” said the head of the district commission Ivan Salač.

According to him, the president was fine. Zeman talked to the commissioners, but not about his health condition, Salač told reporters when he left the castle.

Originally, the president was supposed to vote directly in the polling station on Friday, but the castle announced on the doctor’s recommendation that he would vote in a portable urn at the chateau in Lány.

Zeman’s spokesman Jiří Ovčáček on Friday after several days of speculation he admitted that the president was ill, but stressed that he was still able to perform his constitutional duties.

Former President Vaclav Klaus said on Wednesday that Zeman had liver problems, which he said was related to his lifestyle.

During September, Zeman was hospitalized for nine days at the Central Military Hospital in Prague due to exhaustion and dehydration.

Parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic are two days long – they are held on Friday and Saturday.
