Afghanistan, bomb in a mosque: at least 100 dead

A bomb went off in Afghanistan in a Shia mosque. The explosion during Friday prayers. The victims are allegedly at least a hundred in the Sayed Abad mosque in Kunduz. This was reported by the Aamaj news agency citing witnesses, according to which another hundred people were injured. The Taliban spokesman confirmed on Twitter that “many of our Shiite compatriots were martyred and wounded in the explosion”, without specifying the number of victims, adding however that a special unit was sent to the scene of the attack in order to to investigate. The action has not been claimed, but in recent weeks those carried out by the ISIS-K militiamen have intensified.
