However, the 53-year-old singer says she wants to return to Britain regularly and her decision will not “change much”, the BBC reported on Thursday.

“I spent a lot of time with my family in Australia this year, it was really great and I’ve been talking about coming back for a long time,” said Minogue, who has lived in the UK for decades. Last autumn, she confided in an ABC program that she lacked a family due to the pandemic.

However, the decision to return to her native country also raised questions as to whether this meant that Minogue’s relationship had ended – specifically with British journalist Paul Solomons, with whom she had worked for the past few years. According to The Sun, “the couple is still very much in love, but Paul and Kylie will not move.” According to the newspaper, the partners reportedly decided to try a long-distance relationship.

Her latest studio album Disco, released last year, made her the first solo performer to the top of the UK charts in five different consecutive decades. The singer’s first album called Kylie rolled the charts back in 1988, according to ABC.

Her new single “A Second to Midnight” is a collaboration with British musician Olly Alexander. The star, famous for her performances in the television series Neighbors, had a very successful musical career, during which she also produced hits such as I Should Be So Lucky, The Loco-Motion, Confide in Me, Spinning Around and Can’t Get You Out of My. Head. More than 70 million copies of her recordings have been sold so far, making her the most successful Australian musician of all time.
