PHOTO Lesbian duo TATU is back after 20 YEARS: How have they changed? – Pluska.sk

Do you still remember the members of the Russian pop duo tATu? Red-haired Lena and her short-haired friend Julia released their last album in 2011, and since then the ground has seemed to go down. What they are doing today and what they look like has only begun to be considered now that they have announced their return!

Exactly 20 years ago, they conquered the charts with their single All The Things She Said, in which, as 16- and 17-year-old students, they kissed in school uniforms. Their controversial music videos have been banned in many countries for lesbian scenes in short school uniforms.

However, Lena and Julia were not really in a lesbian relationship. The Russian pop couple was formed in 1999 under the supervision of a child psychologist and marketing expert Ivan Šapalov, who knew exactly how to make two beautiful Russian famous celebrities – and succeeded! The whole world believed that they were lesbians.

At concerts, they performed in thin shirts and short skirts as two schoolgirls, or wore only white T-shirts without underwear and very short shorts.

The big newspaper about a joint return in the spring of 2022 was announced on the social network Instagram by Ryshka Lena. However, how it will go with their image after 10 years is questionable. Both Lena and Julia have changed a lot in the last 10 years.

Would you still meet Julia after cosmetic improvements?

Today, Lena Katina is 39 years old, continues to play music and is the proud mother of her son Alexander. She divorced her husband Sasha in 2019. While she managed to break free from the clutches of the show business and keep her “natural face”, her friend Julia is the exact opposite. We remember the 36-year-old singer as a short-haired rebel with a penetrating voice. Today, however, you would find it difficult to recognize her. Julia had her lips pricked and underwent a number of cosmetic treatments. In April 2021, she even ran for the United Russia political party.
