BRIGHTON AND HOVE – English police have arrested an unnamed Brighton & Hove Albion footballer on suspicion of sexual assault. In addition to him, she detained another man, the incident allegedly happened at a local nightclub on Wednesday morning.

“Forties and 20s, both from Brighton, remain in custody for the time being. We arrested both men after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in Brighton in the early hours of Wednesday, October 6. The victim has specialist help.” said police in Sussex County.

“Brighton & Hove Albion knows that one of his players is assisting the police in investigating the alleged offense. This is a legal dispute, so the club is currently unable to provide further submissions.” cited the opinion of a Premier League participant on the Sky Sports portal.
